Grew up in a remote corner of Lamjung, where the mountains weren’t scenery — they were simply where life happened. Watching this place, I knew I wanted to give back to it, and to show the world the Nepal I’d grown up in. In 2015, I began that work, building a way of doing tourism that honoured the place that raised me.

That is what The Himalayan Guides has become: a small number of deeply personal journeys each year, for those who want to feel a place rather than tick it off a list. The mountains do not require theatre. They ask only that we arrive with curiosity, and that we leave them exactly as we found them.
